Thumpamon Vadakkumnatha Temple Pathanamthitta

Sree Vadakkumnathan Subrahmanya Swami Temple, located in Thumpamon, is dedicated to Lord Subrahmanya (also known as Murugan or Kartikeya), the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

Ponvelikkavu Sree Bhagavathi Temple pathanamthitta

This temple features two Sreekovils (Sanctum Sanctorum), both of which are round (Vatta) in shape. The deity enshrined in the first Sreekovil is known as Vadakkumnatha. Mural paintings depicting various scenes from the Mahabharata can be seen inside the temple. The shrines and the Kuttambalam display vignettes carved in wood.
