Edava Palakkavu Temple Thiruvananthapuram

KarthikaThirunal Mahothsavam

The primary festival of the temple occurs during the Karthika Nakshatra in the Malayalam month of Kumbham, spanning a duration of 10 days. Festivities culminate with the Ghosayathra (procession) and Ezhunnallathu (ritual procession). Commencing with a variety of cultural and traditional programs, each day of the ten-day festival is filled with vibrant celebrations.

Navaratri pooja

Navaratri is one of the most significant festivals observed at the temple. Lasting for nine days, Navaratri is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Bhadrakali and her various forms. During this festival, the temple is adorned with colorful decorations, and special rituals and prayers are performed each day.
